AIC 2016 Disseminating Agricultural Research: Bridging the gap between idea and adoption is taking place April 13-14, 2016 at the Ottawa Marriott Hotel!
In July 2015, agricultural stakeholders gathered in Ottawa to help develop a national agricultural research policy for the 21st century (read our conference report here). Broad consensus among participants identified building strong networks for research dissemination as a key area in the national policy released September 2015.
AIC 2016 will now tackle the next big challenge in agricultural research – how to bring research to those who need it most – producers, farmers, industry and consumers.
Join us in Ottawa to help further develop this area of the national policy! AIC 2016 promises to engage participants and stimulate lively debate on topics ranging from intellectual property protection, to modern research extension strategies, and maximizing technology transfer to industry stakeholders.
