Webinar: MP Francis Drouin, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food
Please join us as the Agri-Food Innovation Council welcomes MP Francis Drouin, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food.
This event will be our last instalment on our three-part series with parliamentarians representing their political parties.
Mr. Drouin was elected in 2015 to the House of Commons and represents the Ontario riding of Glengarry—Prescott—Russell. Mr. Drouin has served as a member of various parliamentary committees, associations, and interparliamentary groups, including the Special Committee on the COVID-19 Pandemic and the Standing Committee on Agriculture and Agri-Food, where he advocated for local farmers and economic growth in rural areas.
Mr. Drouin will discuss how the Liberal Party sees agriculture and food research and innovation and what they propose to do if they form government after the next election.
Ahead of the next federal election, AIC launched a series of webinars featuring parliamentarians of each major political party. On top of giving us insights into each party’s plans, the webinars will enable you to ask questions – moderated by AIC.
