Agri-Food Innovation Council – Webinar with Mr. Warren Steinley, MP, Conservative Deputy Shadow Minister for Agriculture
Mr. Steinley was elected in 2019 to the House of Commons and represents the Saskatchewan riding of Regina – Lewvan. He is the Conservative Deputy Shadow Minister (Critic) for Agriculture.
Mr. Steinley will provide his thoughts on agriculture and food research and innovation, key measures to support it and the Conservative Party’s priorities.
This is the first in a series of meetings that AIC will be having with representatives of the main political parties in Ottawa.
The session is scheduled for fourty-five (45) minutes. Mr. Steinley will offer some thoughts at the beginning and the session will be open to questions after that. Questions will be moderated and attendees will be asked to use the Q&A function in Zoom to type their questions.
We recognize that this is a hectic time in Canadian politics and while Mr. Steinley’s office has accepted and confirmed the date and time, a last minute change may occur. Should there be a change, registrants will be informed.
