Agri-Food Innovation Council – Webinar on proposed agriculture and food research and innovation strategy
The Agri-Food Innovation Council (AIC) wishes to engage members and stakeholders to help better identify and shape its priorities.
In order to do this, the AIC’s Board of Directors has decided to undertake three web-based consultations.
The first one will be on the proposed agriculture and food research and innovation strategy.
An update will be provided (what was proposed, what has been done, where we are in the process).
Following that update, attendees will be asked questions such as:
- Do you feel it is important for Canada to have a national strategy on agriculture and food research and innovation?
- Do you believe it should be a key AIC priority?
- If you feel this is an important priority, how would you like to be involved in helping us shape such a policy?
- What are the key elements that should be found in such a policy?
Each question will have a Zoom poll and then be open for discussion.
