The Board of Directors of the Agri-Food Innovation Council met and elected its Vice Chair (Dr. Wilf Keller), Treasurer (Peter Henderson) and Secretary (Dr. Rita Sterne). The Board also discussed various activities and plans for the upcoming year.
AIC is pleased to note that Dr. Lianne Dwyer was elected as Chair of the Board of Directors of the Agri-Food Innovation Council. AIC’s CEO, Serge Buy, presented at the House of Commons Standing Committee on Science and Research in Ottawa. The discussion, on intellectual property, also touched upon the need for a better coordination of efforts at the national level.
