AIC 2016 Conference Speaker Highlight – Knowledge Transfer and Extension
AIC 2016: Disseminating Agricultural Research will host 6 expert panels and in-depth workshops. Here are two of the industry experts joining us to address the 2nd conference theme, Knowledge Transfer and Extension:
Michael Toombs is the Director of the Research and Innovation Branch of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA), as well as the General Manager of the Agricultural Research Institute of Ontario (ARIO), a provincial agency that provides advice to the Minister. He will join the panel discussing models of extension in the 21st Century at AIC 2016.
Dr. Bronwynne Wilton is the Consulting Project Lead with Synthesis Agri-Food Network. She brings a unique combination of expertise in the agri-food and rural sectors combined with a practical ability to transform complex ideas into tangible solutions. Bronwynne will join the panel discussing how to maximize technology transfer at AIC 2016.
