Western Canada Conference on Soil Health
With 2015 being declared the International Year of Soils, ARECA and its nine member associations across (Alberta) have launched a soil health initiative to increase awareness and understanding of the importance of soil for food security and essential ecosystem functions. Several workshops and activities are planned throughout the year, concluding with the very first Western Canada Conference on Soil Health… We are anticipating 300 producers, students, and industry representatives from all parts of Western Canada to attend this two-day conference and trade show, focused on improving soil health.
