AIC Statement on the Federal-Provincial-Territorial Ministers of Agriculture meeting
The Agri-Food Innovation Council (AIC) commends Minister Bibeau and her provincial and territorial counterparts on successfully reaching an agreement in principle for the new Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership.
We are pleased to see the agreement in principle recognizes the central role that science, research and innovation will play in ensuring Canada’s agri-food sector is sustainable, competitive, and secure, now, and in the future.
We look forward to continuing discussions with the Ministers on ways to support the agri-food research and innovation ecosystem.
