AIC’s 2018 Conference – Save the Date!
Save the date for AIC’s 2018 Conference from April 23-24 in Guelph, Ontario!
Next year’s theme is Educating for Agricultural Research and Innovation. The Conference will be divided into three streams:
- Shaping the Future of Agricultural Innovation: Challenges and opportunities for agricultural education and training.
- Capitalizing on Emerging Synergies: Education efforts to raise the profile of Canadian agriculture.
- Curriculum Design for Agricultural Innovation: Demand-driven agricultural programs to train the next generation of highly qualified personnel.
The Conference will discuss new ways in which the Canadian agricultural innovation system can help address highly-skilled labour shortages and support the future generation of researchers and innovators in the agri-food sector. AIC 2018 will also explore the latest trends in curriculum and program design across Canada, setting the stage for a cross-sectoral dialogue on workforce needs.
