Soil tour: Reducing Tillage, Recycling P and Recovering Soil Structure

Highlights include P recovery at the Portage Water Pollution Control Facility, soil management practices for vegetable crops, measuring soil improvement with cover crops and strip tillage for row crops. Test your soils knowledge at our 3 soil pits with our “pit crew” to win prizes. CCA credits available: 5.0 in Soil and Water Management and 0.5 in Nutrient Management.
